TACKLE FOOTBALL
Welcome to Raider Youth Tackle Football!
Now, in its 18th year, our program is a full-contact sport designed specifically for children ages 5 to 13. Our primary goal is to teach children the fundamentals and the mechanics of the game, along with essential blocking and tackling techniques. The program emphasises the development of both physical and mental resilience, teamwork, and sportsmanship, as it guides athletes from smaller-sided games to competitive, full-field play within age-appropriate divisions. As with all our sports programs, we aim for every athlete to develop a lasting love for the game while also creating pathways for progression into the Patchogue-Medford High School JV and Varsity programs.
